Right when I saw this design by Marc Jacobs on the Refinery 29 post I knew this was the final piece for this week! Some people might dress up with punk style today, but it has started to be a trend/look that is well received by designers and fashionista’s. We even saw black lipstick on the runway this fall. Even if you can’t do that, there are girls still wearing black nail polish which became trendy a year or two ago. It’s funny how trends catch on. I think about five years ago people would have been too scared to wear black nail polish. So, we will take a cue from this Halloween costume/undeniable street trend and create this easy, fun Safety Pin Necklace.
All you need for this DIY Halloween inspired design:
- Safety pins (I am using silver)
- Chain (silver)
- SWAROVSKI Crystals or Regular Crystal Beads (you can use any color—but, I am going to use clear)
- Clasps
