What is your favorite blog?

Any blog that fits my mood for the day!  Here are a few that I like:

I Can Has Cheez Burger

Polymer Clay Smooshers

Artisan Fraud Truth Report

Artfire Jewelry Design and Jewelry Supply Guild

And, her blog, Knotted Up.

Who is your favorite designer?

Iza Malczyk & Michelle of Revelation North.

Why did you start designing jewelry?

I always loved wearing jewelry. Before I started making my own, I always tried to find something unique. I don’t like mass produced items. One-of-a-kind suits my personality better :) So when I found I had a talent in jewelry making, I started making my own.

What inspires your designs?

Many things. I’m a very visual person so anything visual could trigger my mind. From colors, designs I found the internet and malls, the nature, and sometimes someone’s stories. It’s usually one thing leads to another and the final piece may not look like the initial idea at all.

Where are your items sold?

Most of my items are sold via ArtFire as it’s my main venue now. (Plus, she has two shops on Artfire: Popnicute and Popnicute Supplies)  But, when I traced back, half of my customers were my watchers in deviantArt. I’ve had my deviantArt gallery for 5 years now. I started with digital paintings and now my gallery there also a show case for my jewelry.

How would you describe your designs?

My designs are unique, fun, eclectic, and a little bit rustic. Sometimes borderline funky and elegant. I’m always trying for something new so it’s constantly changing but according to my friends, I already got a certain style going on to make my pieces recognizable.

If you could have one person wear your designs, who would that be?

Hmm.. tough question.. But if it had to be someone famous, it would be Oprah.

What would you say could be the theme song for your designs?

The theme song to Tiny Toons.

Do you plan what to wear each day around your jewelry?

If I had something new I wanted to show off, yes! Definitely YES!
